My take on cover art for the novel, The Stranger, written by Albert Camus.
(This is not official art commissioned for/used in association with the book)
I wanted to convey themes of absurdism and social alienation so I literally disconnected the mind from the body. The scribbles over the eyes represent a lack of identity and a declining grip on reality.
